The fastest way to get a new website listed on Google.
Until you get indexed by Google and listed in Goolge's database your website is not going to get much attention. But how do you get your new website listed on Google without having to wait forever? Should you submit your site to Google? It won't hurt, but it won't help either. That's NOT how to get Google to list you. The ONLY way Google will index your site and include it in their database is if they find a link to your site from another site that is already in their database. If you submit your site to Google, they will know you have a site, but they won't list it until they find it on their own. I guess Google feels that if no other site wants to link to you, they don't want you either. Bottom line: If you don't have at least one incoming link from a website that's already indexed by Google, you won't get found and indexed by Google. It's that simple. The above information has been said a million times, but a lot of people still ignore this fact and try to find a simpler way to get listed. Let them keep doing that. Google claims to crawl the entire web every 30 days. "Crawl" is a term Google uses to mean "look at." So if you get a site to link to you today, the worst case scenario is that the site that is linking to you might not be crawled for 30 days. But by simple mathematics the average time is 15 days. It's usually much faster than that. I've added many pages that werre listed by Google the next day. Here's how: High ranking sites that change their content or add new content frequently will get crawled more often. I have some sites that get crawled by Google almost every day. Get a website that's crawled frequently to link to you and your site could be listed by Google in a day or two. Abraham Lincoln said, "Things may come to those who wait, but only what's left by those who hustle." Don't wait to get indexed by Google. Hustle and get some incoming links. Let the other guy wait and wonder. Jerry Minchey Copyright 2003 - 2004
